Also revealed on the official Japanese website is the Decidueye GX SM1+ SR and HR cards. The official launch date for the next JP print card series for Sun & Moon comes (Friday) January 27th. (See the cards here)

Pokémon Banpresto plush for February have been revealed. As you may recall a few months back, the leaked scans confirming the production of Alolan form plush have come to surface for the first time. The next batch of Pokémon Banpresto plush have now fully leaked. Coming May, 2017 a new Sun & Moon wave will bring 14cm plush of Alolan Marowak, Alolan Sandshrew, and Alolan Ninetales. Along with this set of 3, the final Eeveelution 'I LOVE EEVEE' large plush will be released, featuring 25cm Espeon & Umbreon, 25cm Glaceon & Leafeon. Along with these releases, a new Z move pose Pikachu 'wearing Anime hat' 25cm plush will be released. (Reference : Coming Soon section).

The next Pokémon merchandise line has now been released in the U.S. In this mini line we see new a new Slowpoke Valentine's Relaxed Fit Crewneck T-Shirt available for $24.95, which features a typically slow slogan "Happy New Year!". A special Umbreon and Espeon Pokémon Valentine's Mug (2 Pack) has been given a listed price of $24.95, and a Pokémon Hearts Note Card Set (12 Cards with Seals and Envelopes) are available for $17.50 for a set. First Sun & Moon Pokémon TOMY International plush available in April - 17/01/2017

The first details of Pokémon TOMY products featuring new Sun & Moon plush have been published. Following the catalogue release of details from December 27th, the Rowlet, Litten and Popplio plush will be sold for a RRP of $14.99 each. They will make appearances across retailers in Europe, however we are still awaiting a price structure in euro and pound sterling. Each plush will be 8 inches in height, and we expect Mimikyu, Togedemaru, Rockruff and Pikipek to be revealed at a later date. Also, the starters will be getting more plush in future in different poses to set one (Seen above). They are currently available to preorder from ToyWiz.
Note : The plush have only just been added so you can be the first to get yours ready for April release.
Pokémon Pokéball Heart Coin & Crossbody Bag released in U.S - 16/01/2017

A new Pokéball Heart Coin Bag has been released via ThinkGeek. Following the monthly Pikachu Valentines duo plush, and as we approach this time, it seems many Pokémon products will be released celebrating the day. This is the latest product to feature on the website and is made by Loungefly, but officially licensed by the Pokémon company. The size of the bag is approximately 6" x 5 1/2" inches and is available for $19.99. You can view the bag in full and visit for purchase at ThinkGeek here.
Note : A crossbody bag has now also been added to ThinkGeek for $49.99, which is approximately 8" x 6" x 2.5" inches by size. This can also be purchased and viewed in via ThinkGeek here.
Pokémon Nanoblock microsized series 'Pokénano' announced - 16/01/2017

A new Pokémon series of Nanoblock are to be released. Kawada Co will release a smaller "Mini Pocket Monster Series" from the popular series "Nanoblock® Pocket Monster Series (Pokénano)", known as the world's smallest nanoblock. The size of the finished product is about 1/2 size of the existing series. The approximate size is (mm): 180 × 105 × 10 and the series has a scheduled release date of April, 2017. Each figurine will be sold for 500 yen and includes, Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Nidoran male and female, Diglett, Cubone, Porygon, Magikarp and a Pokeball (excluding tax). Also, a secret rare is included, and we will post more as news follows upon release.

The latest series of Pokédolls are now available for purchase in Japan. Following the exclusive Skytree sale, the online Center and physical stores in Japan will now sell Rowlet, Litten and Popplio for 1,200円. These plush are much smaller than the usual plush, thus the mascot price as the usual plush can vary between 1,500円 - 2,500円. The next batch of dolls as part of the series is yet to be announced, however we expect the following to be revealed at a later date :
Also released today is the new batch of Sun & Moon plush of Fomantis, Sandshrew and Ninetales (see Sun & Moon Plush page), along with the new years special A4 Clearfile featuring 'Alola Sunrise' artwork, which will be available at Japanese Centers for 240円. Along with these additions, new iPhone 6/6s/7 cases will be released, and features a Mimikyu with Pikachu, Sun & Moon aesthetic, and Snorlax with Kanto starters which are currently listed via Amazon JP also for 2,030円 each. As we reported in December, early next month will see the nationwide Japanese release of the Vulpix campaign, which will feature pins, plush crossovers as well as large size ponchos akin to Mega Tokyo release, and we now have better quality images. Released (Wednesday) February 1st, 2017 will be new Alolan Vulpix and Standard Vulpix plush (2,000円 each), as well as Alolan Vulpix poncho and Standard poncho (4,800円 each). The Pokémon Centers and Stores nationwide across Japan, will begin distribution to customers for one random card design featuring Pikachu and Alolan Vulpix. Of the 4 different designs, one secret will also be available to shoppers in these areas (see Card designs). Also, a promotion for customers who spend 2,000円 or more at Centers or Stores will be given a special Alolan Vulpix and Pikachu design coaster. They will distribute 5 different designs, with one being a secret design like the cards distribution (see Coasters designs). Please note : This limited distribution in Japan will take place from (Wednesday) February 1st until (Sunday) March 12th, 2017.

Following our Pokédoll Raichu update from Tuesday, the next leak has emerged and features Alolan Vulpix. Based on the level of leaks coming now, an official announcement is near enough imminent. Tomorrow will see the release of Rowlet, Litten and Popplio nationwide across Japan (Outside Skytree), however Collection part 2 is yet to be announced. A special Pokémon figurine competition is underway in Japan currently, which is to be decided by Bandai Hobby Division. Following the release of Solgaleo and Lunala Bandai Action Figures (see Sun Moon Merchandise section), fans can submit photographs of the figurine, and the best ones will win a one of a kind Gold Solgaleo or Silver Lunala trophy. These winners will be contacted in April, 2017 and be exclusive prizes to Japan, making these trophies ridiculously rare items.

A series of Chinese Pokémon sellers via eBay are currently selling counterfeit plush of the Alolan Raichu doll, which was prematurely announced last month. These plush dolls are sold at Centers for 1,200円 each, however we don't have an official release date or production image as of yet, but these bootlegs give us a general idea of the final design, which is yet to be announced. We advice all collectors to stay clear of the fake purchases and to await for further details. The ThinkGeek website has now released officially licensed Pokémon merchandise. For those familiar with our website, we only do reports on official merchandise, and ThinkGeek have now obtained a license to sell goods in affiliation with the Pokémon Company. That said, we will now update every time new products are added to the site. Here are some examples of what was recently added to their site last month, which are hoodies of Rowlet, Litten and Popplio. They are available for $29.99 each, and feature a Poké Ball zipper, name sewn across the back, typing and Poké Ball symbols inside the hood, and drawstring on hood to adjust. The next wave of Pokémon SAN-EI cushion plush are set to be released in Japan. Following the success of the previous series releases, which feature many plush and cushion forms, will now have an addition of Pikachu and Eevee. Amazon Japan has listed the plush cushions at 4,104円 each with a pencilled release date of (Saturday) March 18th, 2017. We are still awaiting confirmation on whether more plush will be added to the series in due course, so stay tuned for more. Sun & Moon Pokémon Center New Years clearfile to be released - 06/01/2017

The Pokémon Company have announced through the official twitter account that a special clearfile will be released on (Saturday) January 14th, 2017. Although no confirmation on price has been given, the previous New Years clearfile was available across Japanese Centers for 240円, and featured Red with Pikachu to celebrate the 20th anniversary. This New Years edition will feature the Alolan starters, Cosmog, Rockruff, Professor Kukui, and Lillie in Alola aesthetic.
Sun & Moon Pokémon Bandai Gashapon series set for Japan - 06/01/2017

A brand new series of Pokémon Sun & Moon keychains have emerged. Set for an April Release in Japan, new Bandai Gashapon (Capsule) Goods will be available, and feature Pikachu, Mew, Gengar, Slowpoke and Metapod. It's an odd batch of keychains, and again a strange choice selection, however they seem to be producing as much for the Kanto generation as much as possible. Each keychain measures to be approximately 33mm in size, and each capsule will be 300円.

Pokémon Center New Years Lucky Bags sold out at Day One release - 01/01/2017

As expected, the New Years Pokémon Center lucky bags which were announced previously, were sold out at several Centers within an hour of release. Here is a breakdown of where the bags were released :
(Sunday) January 1st, 2017 at Mega Tokyo, Tokyo Bay, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Skytree, as well as every Pokémon Store across Japan. Many reports suggest that many stores have also sold out of the bags already. Online Center also sold out within minutes of release.
(Monday) January 2nd, 2017 at Sapporo, Tohoku, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka Pokémon Centers.
Note: Each bag guarantees a Alola starter mascot plush and mug, however is randomly packaged.

Pokémon Center Skytree Town has now moved to a lower and more expansive floor, from F5 to F4 (See Center Information).
