Pokémon Center Japanese online sales roundup from weekend/Rocket invasion - 09/10/2016

Entry 16:00pm - 09/10/2016. (Don't forget to visit our Facebook page for news updates and more.)

The busy weekend has seen the release of the new 'Musical' Pikachu plush monthly duo, as well as the Petit Pastel mascots series number three, along with the Evil Teams merchandise line. Whenever weekends like this occur, we tend to breakdown what best sellers came from the different categories, as so much variety of merchandise was released. Unsuprisingly, the Team Rocket plush and mascot Pikachu dominated the releases, with the plush making number one in the list, while the mascot version hit number three. The release of standard Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle had an effect on the charts and knocked Rowlet down to No.6, Litten down to No.8, and Popplio to No.10. Only Team Magma plush made top 10, in at No.7 and the musical duo plush made No.9.

In accessories, the Rocket backpack shot to No.1 bestseller, while the Rocket purse (No.2) with personalised Rocket business card, Rocket wallet (No.4), Rocket purse (No.6), and Magma purse with personalised Magma business card made No.8. Considering the price variance of these items ranged from 9,180円 - 16,200円, it proved the Evil Teams merchandise made an extremely successful number of releases.

Warning : Team Rocket also invaded the online Japanese Center, and they've sold out of Slowpoke tail! It's best to avoid the heavy price tag of 1,000,000円 anyway.
